Home Remedies to Cure a Sore Throat

Honey

We all know how effective honey is in treating any ailment. For best results, add 5 tsp of honey to a cup of herbal tea or hot water. You can add the juice of half a lemon to hot water and add honey to it. Sip this daily for about 3-4 times. Salt And Water

Salt and water works an excellent mix to neutralize acids in the throat, and heal the mucous membranes. To make this, just take a glass of hot water and add half a teaspoon of salt to it. For using this, take a cup of licorice root, half cup cinnamon chips, 2tbsp grounded cloves and half mug chamomile blooms. Now blend these together and store in an airtight jar far from light. When using this, just add 2tbsp of this tea mixture to 2.5 mugs of water. Boil it on medium for 10 minutes and then stew for another 10 minutes. Strain and sip it slowly.
